Our History

On 20 August 1944, in Ostroh, Rivne region, Vocational School №1 was established to train workers: metalworkers and carpenters.
1990 - Higher Vocational School No. 1 in Rivne. Rivne.

  Over the 81 years of its existence, the educational institution has gone through a journey full of changes and achievements: its name has changed dozens of times, and reorganisations have been carried out to adapt to the requirements of the times and maintain leadership in the field of vocational education.
  Since its inception, the institution has trained about 20 000 highly qualified construction professionals. Its graduates have mastered a wide range of construction professions, made a significant contribution to the development of the infrastructure of Rivne region and have become an integral part of the country's construction history.
  The educational institution looks to the future with pride, maintaining a long tradition of quality education and developing in response to the challenges of the times.

The educational process at the school is provided by 82 teaching staff:
• 7 managerial staff
• 30 lecturers
• 34 masters of industrial training
• Psychologist, tutors, club leaders

We teach
The student contingent is about 500 students:
• construction finisher;
• installer of building insulation systems;
installer of plasterboard structures;
• construction woodworker;
• bricklayer; bricklayer-stove maker; plasterer;
• operator of electronic computers and computers; accountant for registration of accounting data;
• training of professional junior bachelors in the speciality G19 Civil and structural engineering, field of study G Engineering, manufacturing and construction.

Training centres:
• Knauf started its operations in 2006
• Sniezka started its operations in 2017
• Woodworking machine tool builder started its operations in 2019
• Modern work at height in construction 29 December 2021
